Who We Are

Founded in 2016, Astrivis Technologies is a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich). Our founders set out to democratize 3D scanning by replacing expensive, bulky hardware with advanced software that runs on everyday smartphones—without compromising on professional-grade accuracy.

After years of R&D, we released our first mobile scanning SDK, enabling businesses to seamlessly integrate powerful 3D capture into their workflows. Today, our technology supports use cases across healthcare, footwear, construction, and beyond.

2019

Mobile 3D Scan SDK Release

We standardized our mobile 3D scanning SDK, enabling easy integration into business workflows across industries.

2021

AstriCloud LaunchShift to 3D Body Scanning

We launched Astricloud, our 3D content management platform, and pivoted toward full-body scanning—recognizing its potential in digital health, fashion tech, and wellness.

2023

Face Scan Mode Release

We introduced our first face-specific scanning mode, enabling dental professionals to create 3D facial avatars using just a smartphone.

2025

Lower Body Scanning & Measurement

We released new modes for leg and foot scanning, including precise measurement extraction for compression wear, footwear fitting, and orthopedic insole design.

Present

We continue to push the boundaries of mobile 3D scanning—making it smarter, faster, and more accessible.
